Every session at RALLY has a 45-minute window. The 45 minutes should include all parts of the presentation, including session introduction, question & answer sessions, etc.

The proposed session title should be a captivating first impression for the audience. Additional details should be included in the session description to help the audience understand what the session content will be. A compelling session description should highlight the relevancy of the session topic and should entice with the benefits of attending the session.
Session topics should focus on sharing real world examples and practical solutions. Each session should provide at least one strategic item, task or objective that audience members can act on. RALLY values sessions that feature something participants will learn or be able to do as a result of attending your session.
Sessions should not feature promotion of products, services, companies or anything representing monetary self-interest.

RALLY is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and the support we offer is intended to assist with speaker expenses. While we are pleased to provide an honorarium and hotel accommodations, accepting them is entirely optional. Your decision, either way, will not impact our gratitude for your participation.
The pitch competition is NOT a grant. Any investment may be either equity or debt subject to the Rules and Criteria.

No. The RALLY Pitch Competition is an in-person competition only. Any Finalists that are unable to attend in person will be replaced by an alternate. If an alternate is unable to pitch, that finalist spot will be forfeited.

Yes! Finalists of the RALLY Pitch Competition will receive two (2) complimentary all-access registration badges for RALLY 2025.
Additionally, each presenting company will have the opportunity to network and demo their product/service in the RALLY Demo Arena and will receive up to two (2) additional reduced rate badges for other team members to participate and attend.
All applicants who meet the qualifications, but are not selected to pitch, will receive a code to access the lowest badge pricing allowing them to register for up to two (2) RALLY 2025 badges. Companies are also encouraged to participate in the Demo Arena and meet 1:1 with investors during the conference. Companies will more than two people are encouraged to register for RALLY early as additional discounts will not be provided.
Five (5) finalists and three (3) alternates will be selected for each Studio (total of 40 companies).
The Pitch Competition team will screen applicants to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements. Then, the Pitch Review Committee from each Innovation Studio will review all applications to decide which products and services are the most innovative and, thus, should proceed in the process. This is done through a scoring system provided to them by RALLY and is based on Market, Entrepreneur, Legal, Financial, and Operational functions (see criteria mentioned above). The same judging criteria will be used for applicants and Finalists.
In addition to selecting finalists and alternates, the Pitch Review Committee will also select one company to be honored as a “Rising Star” award winner. This award will be given to a company that exemplifies innovation but is still very early in its entrepreneurial journey. The “Rising Star” award winner will receive two (2) complimentary all-access badges for RALLY 2025 and will be acknowledged during the RALLY event.
In addition to selecting finalists and alternates, the Pitch Review Committee will also select one company to be honored as a “Rising Star” award winner. This award will be given to a company that exemplifies innovation but is still very early in its entrepreneurial journey. The “Rising Star” award winner will receive two (2) complimentary all-access badges for RALLY 2025 and will be acknowledged during the RALLY event.
We strongly encourage all applicants to submit a brief non password protected video pitching the company. This should be submitted as a MP4 file.
This pitch video should be two (2) minutes or less and should feature the applicant speaking to the camera—we want to see how you pitch, not what your video editing software can do.
We also encourage you to upload a non password protected current pitch deck (no longer than 20 slides).
Applicants invited to participate will receive an email notification from the Pitch Competition Team. Participating companies will be notified on Monday, June 23. Please refrain from contacting RALLY staff regarding the status of your application. We receive a high volume of submissions and will update all applicants regarding their status as soon as possible.
The Pitch Competition will occur on Wednesday, September 24 at the Indiana Convention Center in the Demo Arena. Exact stage location and pitching times of each studio will be available on the agenda.

If your move-in or move-out requires the use of forklifts or other heavy equipment, or if your setup exceeds certain size or weight limitations as determined by the venue and show management, you may be required to utilize the services of a professional rigging or material handling company (our official service contractor is GES).
Note: an 8 ft table with a wrinkled tablecloth and two folding chairs is not acceptable and will be subject to show management discretion for removal.
Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to purchase power and internet ahead of the deadlines. If electricity is required onsite, there will be a rush fee on top of the electric fee.
Onsite sales are allowed. If you are not already, you will need to register with the Indiana Department of Revenue (IDOR) and submit a Business Tax Application (BT-1) for sales tax. All exhibitors selling products or tangible items are required to have a BT-1 and to collect the Indiana state sales tax (currently 7%) and declare it to the IDOR. Presently, a $25.00 fee applies. RALLY requires exhibitors to submit a certificate of insurance for any booth space that is 10x10 or larger. The COI must be provided by a licensed agent before August 24 and show:
General Liability: $1M per occurrence/$1M aggregate, naming RALLY Innovation, LLC as additional insured. Coverage must include event setup and teardown (Sept 23–25, 2025) and have no event-related exclusions.
Auto Liability (if using vehicles onsite): $1M combined single limit for owned, non-owned & hired vehicles.
Workers’ Comp (if applicable): Per state law, plus Employer’s Liability of $500K per occurrence.
Prior to May 24, exhibitors who need to cancel will receive a 50% refund. After May 24, there will be no refunds.
Exhibitors are responsible for the safe and efficient move-in and move-out of their materials. If your move-in or move-out requires the use of forklifts or other heavy equipment, or if your setup exceeds certain size or weight limitations as determined by the venue and show management, you may be required to utilize the services of a professional rigging or material handling company (our official service contractor is GES).
A spotter is generally required when operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, boom lifts, or scissor lifts. Additionally, if your booth construction or installation involves overhead work or the movement of large or potentially unstable items, a spotter may be necessary to ensure the safety of personnel and surrounding booths. Show management and/or the venue will have the final say on when a spotter is required.
PaymenExhibitors with large, custom booths, those bringing in heavy or oversized equipment, or those planning complex installations should anticipate the need for a spotter. If you are unsure whether your move-in/out will require a spotter, please contact GES to discuss in advance.
Moving in on your own: Exhibitors with smaller displays that can be easily carried and set up by their own personnel may be able to move in independently. This typically includes tabletop displays, banner stands, and lightweight materials that do not require equipment.
Needing assistance (for a fee): If your move-in involves heavy, bulky, or numerous items, or requires the use of dollies, carts, or other material handling equipment beyond what you can personally manage, you will need to utilize the services of GES for assistance. Fees for these services will apply and should be arranged in advance through the GES portal.
